We live in Southern Ontario and are starting our eleventh year of rving. We own a 36 ft 2016 Durango D325RLT fifth wheel. Our tow vehicle is a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. Both of us are employed full time, so we have to fit our camping into weekend warrior trips and once or twice a year holidays. We also winter camp with our fifth wheel from January 1st until mid April. We enjoy the time away we have while looking forward to retiring and having more. We’ve decided we’ll be living in our fifth wheel full time when we finally retire! Our hobbies are kayaking, fishing, traveling to new places, hiking, mountain biking and of course camping. We look forward to every adventure, great or small, close by home or distant. So far, we’ve been to about 100 different parks across Ontario, New Brunswick and Manitoba. We frequent Provincial Parks and Conservation Areas because we really enjoy the outdoor hobbies and more natural setting, but recently, we’ve started adding private parks to our itinerary.
New to us this year is our 20 foot Searay Seville power boat. The plan was to purchase a fixer up boat with a good engine and restore it so we can use it at our seasonal site when retirement comes! For now, we’d have to rent a tow vehicle and bring it along separately as we can’t tow it behind our fiver. We’d be over the maximum length for Ontario .

Hello, we enjoyed our stay at Highland Pines. Its a very clean, well patrolled, well maintained park. You can launch from the park and kayak. We were on site #1, a large, grassy corner site. The only downside to the campsites is a lack of privacy between. Our corner one was nice and we really didn’t mind. If you have small kids, you’ll enjoy the splash pads, pools and awesome playgrounds! There was live entertainment at the rec hall on Saturday night. Once quiet time comes, the park is silent! We have already booked a return visit here for 2017!

I have benign following your site off and on since 2008, I have really enjoyed visiting with you all and make sure you enjoy each and ever day, they sure pass so fast. My wife passed away in
March 2013 and just don’t have the heart to travel anymore. Great site.

Just looked up rock point halloween and you guys popped up. I remember meeting you guys at Bacus years ago with our two little ones in a pop up. We had some great fun with you folks and you taught us some tricks of the trade. Thanks for a great weekend way back on thanksgiving weekend. 2000 and ….. you told us the trailer would keep growing in size. You guys were correct!
