Another day on holidays and another fun activity planned! Golfing at Restigouche Golf and Country Club!

A beautiful view of the Restigouche River!
One thing we always try to do when on holidays is find a local golf course and play 18 together. Restigouche Golf Club overlooks Restigouche River where it empties into Chaleur Bay. It’s a very scenic course with many beautiful vistas! It’s also a pretty decent course with some challenging holes.
The day we golfed here the sun was shining and the temperature was perfect! Not too hot, but warm enough in the sun. The forecast was for rain later in the day, but when we started out, it was gorgeous weather! Here are some photos of the front nine.
The clouds continued to roll in as the day progressed and by the time we got to the last three holes, it was raining! Rain or not, we finished up. The last couple holes were the most spectacular and we didn’t want to miss them.
There were no shortage of golf courses within driving distance of our park. New Brunswick is home to many, many beautiful ones. It was a difficult choice, but we were glad we chose Restigouche. The rates were decent, the staff very friendly and it was just a very fun day spent together. Although by the 18th hole, we were both glad to get out of the rain and back to the fifth wheel for a warm coffee!
