We’re back from spending a wonderful long weekend at Goreski’s Landing in Port Perry. We were able to launch our kayaks pretty much a few steps from our campsite and enjoyed kayaking on beautiful Lake Scugog! ☺
In three more nights we’re off again for the first of our two longer holidays. We start off our trip with a quick overnight stop at Fifty Point Conservation Area on Friday. We didn’t bother to flush our tanks after this past weekend knowing we were less than 2/3rds full and would have a three way connection at Fifty Point.
Saturday morning we head East to Pickerel Park which is run now by Sun Resorts. We haven’t visited this park, but it’s on the shores of Hay Bay which is on our kayak fishing bucket list. Not sure what to expect, but I booked a large pull thru with 30amp and water hookups. I guess we shall see, but Dave and I don’t stress too much about new campgrounds. We have a great time wherever we go and if it’s ever that bad, we just don’t return.
So far in over 10 years of RVing, there hasn’t been anything bad enough to end our stay early.
So, for me, it’s one more night shift then holidays. For Dave, it’s four more days of work then holidays. It will be nice to have a couple days to do last minute packing and get things packed. I’m so excited for this trip! Can’t wait to hook up and head out! ☺😊😀
